CCPFHA Gaited Horse Fun Show

Erin, Ontario - August 16th, 2008

The Central Canada Paso Fino Horse Association held it's third annual Fun Show at the Erin Fairgrounds on August 16th. We had a great day and the weather was absolutely perfect. Though the ring was a bit damp, it was definitely dust-free this time! Congratulations to everybody and thanks for coming out and bringing your wonderful horses!
 
 I just want to send out my thanks, once again, to all the wonderful volunteers that made this day work. There were so many people that pitched in, I am afraid to name you all, but here are some definite mentionables...

Thanks a ton to our fabulous secretary and point-keeper, Margaret Lauber. Thanks to Jennifer Tarrant for making the beautiful wineglass gifts for our judge and doing all the prize collecting and engraving.
A huge shout-out to our fantastic ribbon girl (and Janet and Leslie's niece), Casey. We were all so impressed with this young lady and are thrilled to hear she'll be back next year. Thanks also to Laura Pierson for helping out in the office. Thanks to Diane Vollick for garbage duty (a truly dirty job), Bob Darling for the sound system and ring help. Thanks to Jeannie Harris for helping to set up on Friday. Thanks to folks like Donna Christie and Leslie Town for their prize donations.
Thanks to all the folks who helped me with the sounding board and other equipment come pack-up time. Thank you to all of you and hope to see you all and more of you as well come next year.
