About us

The Central Canada Paso Fino Horse Association is dedicated to promoting this beautiful breed of horse in Canada. We unite current owners and enthusiasts to share knowledge and have fun!

We are a member of the Paso Fino Horse Association of the USA and the only organisation in Canada to officially represent the breed.  The Central Canada Paso Fino Horse Association, Inc. was incorporated in August of 2008.

  • Wye Marsh trial ride
    Come ride the beautiful trails at the Wye Marsh in Midland on Sunday, July 9th!
    Connie Thielmann will be hosting this ride from Sandy Hills Farm located at 2455 Ron Jones Road. The ride will be limited to a maximum of 8 people as per the farm owners request. Cost to use the trails for the day is $12. If you are interested please email Connie to reserve your spot. Come for 10 am and ride for about 2 hours. We will have lunch at the farm and those that are interested can ride out again after lunch.

    The 2 day ride has been changed to a 1 day ride. We will meet at 10 AM on Sat. at the forest to ride out at 10:30 am. Please bring a lunch to eat on the trail. We will ride for approximately 3 hrs with a break for lunch.
    Directions to Copeland forest: Hwy 400 north of Barrie to exit right at exit #121 at hwy 93. Take first left onto Ingram Rd. for approx. 6 km. to just past Oro Medonte Line 4. Turn right into parking lot at forest.
